Capture an idea mid-session without interrupting Claude — it's handed to Claude on your next message.
/plugin install idea-stash --marketplace zkwasm/idea-stash
During a long Claude Code session you keep having new thoughts — but you don't want to interrupt Claude's current work, and by the time it's done you've forgotten half of them. idea-stash gives you a place to drop a thought the instant it arrives, and makes sure Claude actually reads it later.
Type /idea <thought> anytime. It's stored instantly — no turn is triggered, Claude isn't interrupted.
A banner above the prompt and a status-line count show your unread ideas until Claude reads them.
On your next real message, every unread idea rides along as hidden context — Claude folds them into the work.
Claude is working… (editing src/server.ts) > /idea extract the auth logic into its own module 💡 已记下想法,Claude 下次开始工作时会自动读到: “extract the auth logic into its own module” ↑ captured instantly — Claude keeps working, never interrupted
💡 2 条未读想法 · also rate-limit the login route ──────────────────────────────────────────── > ▍ status line: 💡 2 条未读想法
> ok, let's continue ┌─ hidden context handed to Claude ───────────┐ 1. [22:42] extract the auth logic into its own module 2. [22:50] also rate-limit the login route └─────────────────────────────────────────────┘ Claude: Got it — I'll factor out the auth logic and add a rate limit on the login route as I continue.
Installed at user scope, idea-stash is on in every session. The native /plugin
toggle disables it globally, so to silence just one session use /idea off —
it resets automatically next session.
At the prompt of a Claude Code terminal session:
/plugin install idea-stash --marketplace zkwasm/idea-stash
Answer y to Add marketplace?, then press Enter to accept the user scope. Active immediately — and in every session you start after.
